Is mendis really a dangerous bowler than muralidharan ?

Right now he is, because not many batsmen can read him. However,  when the batsmen go to focus on reading him, they forget about Murali and so Murali catches the batsmen off guard. So, I guess they help each other, and when they do that, they both become equally dangerous.

No, Mendis is just new & he's getting wickets, but once the batsmen are familiar with his bowling then he can't take wickets as he is doing now. Muralitharan is consistent & above par than Mendis, so Mendis can't be as dangerous as Muralitharan in the long run.

Moreover, he is quite new. Once the cricketers will be used to him, he might look as dangerous as he seems now......

He certainly seems to be amazingly talented. But i dont really see any particular reason to put him ahead of Murali in the dangerous bowlers list:P

He definitely has more variety to his bowling. Anyways time will tell.....he might go on to become the nxt muralitharan (hopefully)

i might as well add that Mendis and Muralitharan bowling in tandem will prove to be more effective, and no doubt it will help both mystery spinners to become more dangerous to batsmen in the future:D

he is a new bowler and though he's taking wickets... look at the 1st test our batsmen tackle mendis but they lost to murali... murali is the notable and dangerous man... i'll definitely say our batsmen will play mendis well after this series... if they try to play carrom technique, they can overcome mendis...

mendis is new .he had no experience in test match.and he is not dangerous.but murali is much experienced bowler.and he is one of the highest wickettaker in the world.so murali is dangerous tahn mendis.one of the mugrali dangerous and aggrsive ball is his favourite is dhusla.so murali is one of major dangerman to pick wicket.
