  1. Great golf, if you are up towards Saugatuck, play the Ravines, it is an Palmer course, steep green fee, nice course though, but yeah a lot of nice golf in Michigan!

  2. Absolutely.  Unless you are scared of beautiful scenery and trees.   See also my home state, Minnesota.  The N.Central and NE has some wicked nice courses.....rock quarries and more....

  3. Hi,

There are some truly woderful courses in Michigan.

Book yourself a few rounds - you won't be disappointed

  4. Absolutely. Especially "Up North" in the Traverse City and Gaylord areas. Bay Harbor, Boyne, Arcadia Bluffs (Take a look at that site, here: http://www.arcadiabluffs.com/ ), Little Traverse Bay, Black Forest and High Pointe (Tom Doak designs), and hundreds more.

There are 800+ public courses in Michigan.

The weather is pleasant and the days are long. When I'm "Up North", I often start a round at 6pm and finish at 9:30 with enough light left for putting practice.

    Prices are very good, too.

If you look in my gallery here, you'll see some photos that I've taken of Michigan courses. Especially look at the "Up North" photos:
