Is mike tyson physically strong and gifted?

i saw mike tyson when he was around 12~15 and he was huge

he was about 190 pounds. i think he is really physically gifted

Yes, too bad he hanged out with the wrong crowd. He could of been champion longer.

of course. All champions in boxing, (even the weak looking technical guys) will still be around the highest levels of  strength, reflexes, fitness and skull thickness compared to the average guy.

When you are at the top of 30 million fighters worldwide, you need to have all the natural gifts to stand out, as well as have the best training.

Otherwise you would not be champ.

I don't think he was ever gifted per se.  He simply beat his opponent to the punch and his punches were devastating.

Mike Tyson benched 250 pnds at 13yrs old , that is a gift! his dad must have been a gorrilla.

He is physically gifted, but I feel he never really developed into a mentally gifted fighter. He can stand in and deliver blow for blow with anybody but add a little strategy and he starts to lose the battle.

That's what Cus D'Amato thought when he saw him and started him on the road to all that made Tyson a champ in his early 20's.  Too bad the rest of the story isn't as good, boxing-wise or life-wise.
