  1. Yes milk is a complete protein and it is the best thing that you can consume after a workout. After a workout, your muscles are broken down and they need nutrients as quickely as possible so that they can start to heal. If you were to eat meat, it takes a long time to digest and therefore the muscles don't get what they need soon enough. Milk on the other hand, is a liquid, so it is digested much more quickly and is therefore a better muscle builder after your workout. Now, numerous studies have shown that after working out, milk is great, but people who drank chocolate milk rather than regular milk experienced twice the amount of muscle gaines. The reason is that the sugar and carbohydrates from the chocolate increased the ability of the body to absorb the protein in the milk, which the body then used to rebuild the muscle. So, all that being said, I reccommend that after you workout, you should consume 1-2 cups of low-fat chocolate milk, and you will recieve all the nutrition that you need to start rebuilding your muscles.  On a side note, organic milk is best because it does not contain hormones and antibiotics and other poisions that can harm your body.

  2. Only Mother's milk, then it's only right for babies.

  3. um yes... i think soo...try nuts too...

  4. it is a complete protein but if you're trying to GAIN muscle mass you'll need more than milk has to offer.

  5. It's a complete protein, especially if your a baby cow. Eggs would be a better choice if you buy into the myth that we need to eat high protean foods right after working out. We store protein, so if your on a balanced diet you don't need to binge on protein right after a workout. Water is the only thing you may need to binge on after a workout.

  6. No not quite. Eggs are a complete protein though. However it is good to know your trying o cut down on your meat intake. I know vegetarians eat a lot of raw nuts, soymilk, beans, and organic yogurt and milk for protein(never drink non-organic milk since it comes from mistreated cows pumped up with hormones and antibiotics)

  7. Yes it is.

No, your muscles will shrivel more due to milk being related to oesteoprosis. I suggest you eat spirulina, quinoa, buckwheat, hempseed, and amaranth, & soy products such as soybeans, edamame, tofu, tempeh, and miso.

    Especially quinoa, hempseeds, and tofu.
