  1. The powder?

Personally I avoid any powder because I have dry skin and makes it looks ten times worse.

I think to wear mineral foundation you have to have really good skin in the first place, no wrinkles or dry patches etc

So if you don't then go for it, go to your local cosmetics department and try a few samples see which one works for you.

I know Loreal do one, won't be too expensive.

  2. i use maybeline mineral makeup it costs about 10 bucks or so and i really like it.

its healthy for the skin and doesnt clog pores.

tell me if you invest in this ! :)

    hope i helped.

  3. I LOVE my mineral makeup.

I use bare minerals.. which is pretty pricey but TOTALLY worth it. At most stores it runs about 25$ for a small container of powder, and I get 2 different shades. It's amazing coverage though and really good for your skin!

  4. Depends on your skin.

If you are able to use liquids without it causing acne or without it looking fake or oily, then stick to that.

Mineral foundation is something better for acne prone people, or with oily skin. So for those reasons, it is worth it to have a foundation that doesn't cake into lines after 3 hours and becomes really oily and sinks into and around pores.

Brands to steer away from: Bare Minerals/Bare Escentuals, any mineral line that has the ingredient "bismuth oxychloride".

Other brands I've heard of: Physicians Formula (which is what I use and I like it), L'oreal (stay away from it though), Maybelline in liquid form, Prestige... Those are the drug store ones I can think of. Then there is also some that are a BIT more expensive like Philosophy's supernatural one which also has the bismuth ingredient..

So you pretty much just need to try stuff out. Get the ingredients online and look them all up, see if any are irritants.

  5. Everyday Minerals! THE BEST makeup ever! All natural ingredients, gorgeous coverage, and affordable prics! They even have free samples that you can try and see if you like it. I'm serious, check it out!

  6. It's worth it if you have normal to slightly oily skin that needs light to medium coverage.  Otherwise it will be a nightmare for you.
