Yes, it is!  My dog drank from some run off water where I had watered my deck plants last night and he was dead this morning when I woke up.  After reading a number of websites today, I realize MG is a chemical and not organic and can and will kill pets.  It is also harmful for humans.  Please keep your pets away from MG water run off.  Even better, find an organic fertilizer instead, it's not worth the risk!
