  1. lol. ontario is the province [ that would be the equvalent of a state in US], toronto is the capital of ontario, missauga is technically another city right outside of toronto so it's like the suburbs.

  2. Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories.

    Ontario is one of the 10 provinces (like a state).  The territories are all up north.  They're not called provinces because they don't have the population to support that type of government.

    Toronto is the capital of Ontario, and the largest city in Canada.

    Mississauga is a city just to the west of Toronto.  It's basically the suburbs, but it does have its own little downtown area too.

  3. Okay, in Toronto, we have the Greater Toronto Area, which are the clusters of cities outside the rim of the Toronto city.  So these cities can be north, south, east or west of Toronto, but their borders are touching, so they are considered the GTA (Greater Toronto Area).  The GTA includes Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Pickering, Etobicoke, etc...you can look up exact cities online...

    Ontario is the province in which Toronto or the GTA exists, and Ontario is where most of the country loves anyway...I think something like 80% of the Canadian population lives in Ontario...a cool place to see!

  4. Country = Canada

    Ontario = province in Canda

    Toronto = city in Ontario

    Mississauga = city near Toronto in Ontario. Mississauga is part of the peel region which consists of Mississauga, Brampton, and Caledon.

  5. Are you an idiot? Check out this site for more information about Toronto.

  6. Toronto is the city, Ontario is the province, Canada is the country.

    That would be the equivalent of Los Angeles is the city, California is the state, United States is the country.

    Mississauga is legally a suburb of Toronto, so it's a different municipality. However, I think it's part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

  7. mississauga is a part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

    Toronto is a City. mississauga is it's own city. The GTA is made up of a lot of cities. And yes Toronto is in Ontario, actually its the Capital of Ontario.

  8. if u want to get technical...Mississauga is a seperate subburb and part of the region of Peel, which is outside of the city of Toronto (which is part of the GTA or greater toronto area) by about 30 minutes (give or take with traffic). but not technically part of Toronto.

    Yes Toronto is in the southern part of Ontario. there are different regions outside of Toronto city limits which is any thing north of Steels Avenue.

    Toronto is the Ontario's provincial capital and the capital of Canada is Ottawa also in Ontario.

    take a look at a map of Ontario and Toronto u will find it all there.
