Is mitsubishi lancer gts 2009 with CVT good?

Question

I know it may not be the best compact car but I honestly don't fancy the look of a honda civic although many told me that it is an excellent car with good performance n good milage. If I hv to make a choice between the gts, mazda 3, corolla s 09, and subaru impreza 2.5i, which one is will be the best choice? I hope the gts won't be the worst among these (under $20000) cars becuz I do fancy it, but I'm lookin for genuine opinions and advices for my research before my actual purchase. tell me what u think. thanks a lot!!

Both my son and daughter have the Lancer..It has been a very good car with no problems.They both are 2008 but have been shop free.For the money you get a lot of car ....

Mazda 3 or the Lancer take your pick they both look better than the Civic and the Corrolla.
