It's not a bad choice...but not a great one either... for vodka i would suggest a servicable cranberry or cran-grape fruit juice... Coke lends itself better to darker alcohols like rum

I'd go with rum & Coke. Classic.

or if you're dead set on vodka do a screwdriver (vodka & orange juice)

there are so many combinations of drink, rum and coke might be better though.

the only real way you will find out is to try though.

Well, it is possible, but the best choice is mixing it with sprite / 7-up as the color of the drink will not be changed due to it's colorless property.

Not the best choice for Coke but not terrible. I have done it. Vodka mixes better with a clear or citrus soda. Coke is great with Rum or Whiskey.
