It is like a two-faced coin. Sometimes it is a boon. You can contact anybody in emergency from anywhere. But it is a curse too. You can call up anybody at any time. The other person may not be in a position and free to answer your call. It might be disturbing him!

Definitely a boon. Just imagine a situation where there is no mobile anywhere in this earth..... But there are many people who has been misusing it
