Is modeling school necessary in order to get into a good modeling agency?

I know you don't HAVE to go. But it seems really expenisive and it obviously isnt going to guarentee to get you accpeted. But do the agencies perfer people who have had training or does looks and personality work just as good?

  1. Modeling for a simple ad with little pay = good looks, great personality, photogenicness, versatility, and a little training.....

    Modeling in a catalogue or something bigger with a little more pay = great looks, great personality, wonderful photogenicness, versatility, poise,a couple of ads that you have done, great resumee, and a lot more training in school

    catwalk modeling = all of the above + something else that i forgot


  2. I have always been told that a simple polaroid will do. They want to see you in a photo. I think they will teach you to walk if need be.
