Illegal, and you should check out who makes it and how it's made.  You may not want to drink it.  If you still want a high proof alcohol, get bicardi 151.

Moonshine tastes good?  Maybe in jungle juice.  Straight - that stuff burns through your throat!!

It is definitely not legal. In some areas it is somewhat tolerated, if nobody makes waves. Wave your mason jar of 'shine in front of a cop (or ATF agent) and you WILL be in deep doo-doo. Some is good; some is poisonous. You pays yer money and you takes yer chances.
