  1. Both.

  2. Nurture in my opinion.

  3. I strongly feel that it is learned, if we see the perfect example of the poorest man became a millionare, I know this  has nothing to do with morality, however we learn through who we know and being involved with either the great or the low..., that being said it would also depend on your nature, your instincts, what you are fed spiritually and what your spirit learns and picks up, as well as what it attracts based on your nature and willingness too to see and make something happen or not, oooopss.... Did I confuse you?

It is certanly a combination of both, but it'd also depend on how committed you are to your spiritual life and how much one wants to make a difference and paying the price for it......, someone once said if you hang around trash, you will end up smelling like it!

  4. its learned think about it this way when children see something they want they take it because they don't know better and you have to explain to them that its wrong

  5. I think we are born good.  We see and hear of things that are bad and then we have to question the right and wrong of it, then decide how to react.  As children we have to be taught that what we see is not always right.  Then we have to learn there are consequences for doing the wrong thing.

  6. I heard someone liken that when we are born, we are closest to perfection...a newly produced chalkboard.  A baby has no ability to say or think about anything negative.

However, as our mind (the chalkboard) learns a bad thing (immoral) we are taught by society or parents to contrast it by also learning a good thing (moral).

So by definition...we can't be born with morality, because we aren't born with immorality.

  7. Well. In this case its a matter of both factors.

By natures means we inherit different genes witch in turn make out our brains composition and hormonal discharges. this in turn could affect types of behavior. Behavior influences greatly the morality of one person through thinking.

Nurture counteracts this in one way or another by inducing a inhibition factor.this could also affect morality.

Society has a role in this too. For instance a "born killer" will not be stopped by morality or society but he might be afraid of the consequences of killing. How many times have you had a murderous intent ? Did u carry on with your urge ? Probably not.

Evil people must be killed like bullies were killed in our race's past. Similar behavior is found in primates of our time. The individuals bullied gather up and kill the bully. There is no peace without war in this case.

  8. Anything that your conscience stops you from doing is moral!  In that it is innate.

But there are things which society as a whole considers as moral and those have to be learnt.

That's the reason why morals change with time and society.

  9. I would say it is nurture. Sociology studies religion because they believe religion is a reflection of the morals and attitudes of the civilization of the time. If you look at the current societies you will realise this  has relevance as most western societies even though many people will claim not to be religious practice moral values of Christianity.

  10. It depends on what.  Some things are instinctive, some are learned, some are arguable.

  11. Morality is definitely learned. That is why all conflict exists; if morality was natural instinct, then it would be the same from each person to the next, thus everyone would be in perfect agreement. A child has no concept of morality, of what is 'right' and 'wrong'. Instead, they learn it from their parents, their peers, and the people they idolize.
