  1. I have a 4x8 table (I play snooker on it with 10 red balls but of course it's not an official 6x12 snooker table).  When I bought it, the seller recommended 4 feet on each side/end, but he really should have said 5 feet or more.  

    To answer your question, I believe neither the sides nor the end require any more space than the other.


  2. You need to have a minimum of 5 feet (the length of the cue) of each rail of the snooker table, as if you are playing a shot from under the cusion, you don't want to have to lift you cue into the air as you can't direct the ball.

  3. Even on all sides -You shoot from all sides of the table-5 To 6 ft min I would like to have 8

    If floor space ? 2X1 dim.
