Is most duelist going to stop useing your cards you have now when 5d's come out

unlike most people, i don't follow card trends like in GX i never used E*HEROS and then here i might use the new cards like a sprocket or a pycic just to see if there good but over all i will still use my usual monsters

Hello. As in many other TCGs, when players find a build that wins, everyone will immediately start playing it. Many, many deck types surface with the release of every set, but only a few rise above the rest to become  tournament worthy. Take the Destiny Heroes, for instance. The lineup of Malicious, Stratos, Disk Commander and Fear Monger, combined with 2-3 Destiny Draw, has fueled the metagame for quite some time. In the last several dozen SJC decks I've read about, not one ran without a Destiny Hero lineup. Unless they ban D-Draw, I don't expect this trend to dwindle any time soon. Their popularity has only grown with the release of Phantom Darkness, and you'd be hard-pressed to find a full D-Hero lineup for less than $250 to $ 300. As for 5Ds, I feel the Destiny Heroes' tournament lives will be extended for quite some time.
