I heard that Colorado is drab and brown 7-9 months out of the year. Is this true?

  1. No, it's also white.  Ha ha.

Really though, Colorado has its own colors.  There are all the red rocks around Denver and Colorado Springs, and plenty of conifers to keep things green all year long.  In the fall, you get those blazing yellow aspens, and in the winter, you get the snow-capped mountains.

So, no, wouldn't call it drab and brown. :)
