  1. Due to the level of people from those populations which are from ethnic minorities I would think definately not in probability terms. However, perhaps if you were to look at percentage of people who have committed crimes within each ethnic minority or religious group then you could pick up a clearer pattern of comparison against Christians, or the likes.

  2. In Belgium there are no crime statistics according to religion, but there are prison statistics based on nationality. Following numbers are from 2006:

    - Percentage of people  living in Belgium, with foreign nationality: 8,3%

    - Percentage of people in Belgian prisons with foreign nationality: 42,0% (meaning that astoundingly almost half of the people in Belgian prisons are not Belgian).

    - So we can say that the percentage of people with foreign nationality in prison is 5 times more than in general population.

    - Some nationalities are much worse than 5 times. This is the list from worst to better: Albania (70 times), Algerian (45), ex-Yugoslavia (35), Romania (21), Tunesia (18), Russia (17), Maroc (14). All others are below 10 times.

    - I do not mean to say that people from these countries are more criminal. But what I can say is that a good part of the Albanians coming to Belgium are not coming here to do an honest job. Etc.

    - For absolute numbers and more details, please refer to the reference below.

  3. No - I have friends in Netherlands and Germany who are in the police forces there. Most crimes are committed by local citizens. In Germany they tell me that British Tourists commit more crimes than local religious groups!

  4. probably not...but i would imagine so
