Is moving again bad?

i am 23 and i've been out of my parents house since i was 20. I moved out of NY to delaware and moved 2 while there. Then in the beginning of this year i moved back to NY and now i plan to move to upstate NY by next year as a final decision. I have a 3 yr old and i wanted to know is it bad to be moving alot or would or wouldnt u consider this to be alot of moving. and does this make my job history or rental history bad

YES, that's a lot of moving, but get it out of your system now BEFORE your 3 year old starts school.  As a parent, you need to provide a stable secure environment for you child, and these frequent moves can be unsettling.  Once your child is in school, you need to avoid disrupting their schooling.

    YES, this makes your job and rental history look a mess.  Hopefully you worked things out with the LLs and have good references, not a chain of broken leases and judgements behind you.  BUT you are a parent, and need to consider the future for you and your child.  Sorry, but I would look carefully at other candidates before hiring you or renting to you.


  2. MY family moved often. 2 of us brothers weren't bothered by it at all.  We would move anywhere at any time and find it exciting.  Our 3rd brother hated every move.  He still hates to move today.  Everyone is different.  You can't predict what a 3 year old will be like in 20 years.

  3. I would say that it is fine but you need to find a place to stay when she starts school so she's got a permanent place to call home.
