Question:

Is moving forward 15 ft the same as moving diagonally 15 ft?

If movement was based in 5ftx5ft squares moving forward 3 squares would equal 15ft. Moving in a diagonal direction 3 squares would equal 20 feet due to rounding and using squares.

In real life it would be more correct to use radial movement so moving 15ft. in any direction would be 15ft.

Am I correct or not?

  1. I believe you are. 15 feet is 15 feet no matter how you try to spin it. But then moving diagonally in 5x5 squares would be longer..... soo... yeah.

  2. You are correct.
