Only if you have a history of Journalism behind you already

And only if you are not coming by yourself

And only if you have another job that is a 9 to 5 one waiting for you

.

Journalism is a nasty and competitive occupation a lot of dirty players in it a lot of want a be reporters in LA

.

So if you are wanting to try it keep these thought in mind

It depends. There are more information-related jobs there (PR, TV, etc.), but the competition is tougher too.

I'd be tempted to be a big fish in a small pond for a while, and then see what happens.
