Where ever u buy it from, make sure it isn't a fake one. My friend bought one from mumbai and his was a fake Sony one.

mp4 takes up a lot more room then a .avi file (windows media player) but if your a itunes person (much better) then you need .mp4 espicially if you have an iphone or ipod, its all that works if its not hacked.

china made mp4 playes are not worth going for...

they work for about 6 months to a yr then go bad, their sound quality is also not good

so i would suggest u to go for an Apple iPod Nano 2or 4 Gb acc   to ur need. It is the best in terms of reliability, sound quality and features. It is available for about Rs. 6000 from any apple store. One is in nehru place and find out others on apple india website
