  1. Mumbai central is a station on western railway line and Mumbai CST is the last stop on the central railway line.

You can take a taxi from cst to central

If you dont have much luggage, you can also take a taxi from cst to churchgate and then take the train to mumbai central.

A cheap but time consuming alternative is to take the train from cst to dadar and from dadar take the western railway train to mumbai central.  ( I know mumbai central being on western line and not central could be confusing)

  2. Mumbai CST is only a couple of kilometres away from Mumbai Central. So it is possible to have a connection through these stations.

  3. Mumbay C,S,T. and Mumbai Central are different stations.  While Mumbai C.S.T. is the terminus for the Central Railway trains, Mumbai Central is the terminus for trains running in Western Suburbs.

You can go to Mumbai Central from Mumbai C.S.T. in following

    ways:

    1)  Take a taxi from Mumbai C.S.T.to Mumbai Central.

    2)  Taxe a taxi from Mumbau C.S.T. to Churchgate Station

and then take a suburban train from  Churchgate to

          Mumbai Central.

    3)  Board a suburban train from Mumbai C.S.T. which goes

to Thane/Kalyan sides, get down at Byculla and then

take taxi to Mumbai Central.     This mode of travel will be

        most economic
