  1. Does the Sun rise? One's attitude determines the level and intensity. [I lived there for two years working for a German film company- Fun.]

  2. Lived there for 4 years in the 80's.  It is a wonderful place.  So much to see and do there and the transportation system is 1st rate.

  3. sure is

  4. depends on your age and what you want.

as a tourist- well, its an interesting city,  see deutsches museum    f.ex.

    look: http://www.muenchen.de/home/60093/Homepa...

  5. Yeah I went there in the 3rd grade. It is very interesting

  6. I disagree with Hilmar. I'm Bavarian, too, and I found the Munich museums interesting at first sight, before I knew better. Berlin has many more attractions (and museums, too, a whole lot of them, not only on the "museum island"), and living in Berlin is much more fun, way cheaper, and culturally more attractive than Munich. Munich is christian-conservative in most of its parts, arrogant, overpriced, and overestimated. I'd prefer any other Bavarian town to Munich.

From living and working three years in Munich and seven years in Berlin, with some other European towns in between, please take this as my personal opinion. I'm aware that everybody's experiences are different, so no insult intended.

  7. Yes, however its probably the most expensive place to go in Germany. However, it has a very classical feeling to it.

  8. Absolutely. There are beer halls, the BMW museum, you can go to a football match, and visit a few nifty castles and palaces and see some history. You can take a tour of the city and get a sense of how Hitler gained power.

And visit a concentration camp, if you feel so inclined.

  9. yes. ive seen the Neuschwanstein. its a great castle, incomplete and has warped little details that shows Ludwig's crazed mind! Nothing beats seeing the castle in snow from Marienbrucke! But I believe it's gorgeous in summer too.

  10. One of the best, but also one of the most expensive citys of Germany.

Many Museums a lot of culture.

Plenty of restaurants to go dining great nightlife.

    Highly recommended to visit.
