  1. Not "supposed" to. Are you doing homeschooling? She can go, but since it is already Sep, it might be too late. Either way, she will be ok.

  2. Yes. She will be a year behind. You have to be 4 no later then September 1st to be in Pre-K.

  3. In my area, the cut-off date is Sept. 1st.  You'd have to check with your school district.  I believe 3-year olds can be in Head Start though.  But as for Pre-K, your daughter would probably have to wait until next year as that would be for 4-year olds.  Your daughter would just be one of the oldest in her class.

  4. I would say head start .

  5. ur child has to be 4 before or on sept 1st to be eligible for prek

  6. 3 year olds can go to head start.  Both my kids did from age 3 to 4 then into Pre-K

  7. yes she will be a yr behind cause her b day is end of september so she can go to head start

  8. Gosh, 3 seems really young to go to school. Probably PreK next year?

I started nursery school (in the 60s) when I was 3. I can actually remember it and really liked it! It was 'in style' then, Dr. Spock and all?

I started Kindergarten when I was 4, but turned 5 less than a month later. I was usually the youngest in any class that I was in throughout school. I started college when I was 17, but turned 18 less than a month later.

Enjoy your 'baby' while you can....as I'm sure you know, they grow up so fast! Teach your child at home this year and have fun!
