  1. You might be better off with a targeted life stages fund.  Most employers offer these.  They are based on how many years you have before retirement.  If you have 40 or more years, your portfolio will be more heavily weighted with stock mutual funds.  If you have 10 years until retirement, your portfolio will be more heavily weighted with bonds.  With these funds, your asset allocation automatically gets adjusted as you get closer to retirement.

You don't mention your age.  If you are in your thirties or younger, the above portfolio might be too heavily weighted in bonds.  And, you probably don't need such a variety of stock funds.  You could likely substitute a broad market index fund and an international markets index fund for many of the above.  Talk with a fee-paid financial adviser for unbiased information and guidance.

  2. This is a typical run-of-the-mill portfolio suitable for ignorant investors in the growth phase of an economic cycle.  We are not in a growth phase of an economic cycle.  You are set up for devastation in an inflationary environment or a stock market debacle, both of which are serious risks in today's dicey economy.

You need to become much more sophisticated and find better ways to invest.  Start reading and researching.  You have a number of lengthy appointments with your public library, and then speak to a financial advisor to reallocate your 401k and coordinate your holdings with your other investments.

  3. I'm sorry but there is just no way to give an accurate answer with this information. Any advisor who does is doing a disservice to you. You need to take your 401k statement to a trusted advisor (a trusted banker can help you if you don't already have a financial advisor) and he can determine if it is sufficient in respect to your goals and timeline. A retirement account is so critical to your financial health, please seek the advise of a professional advisor.
