  1. well prolly not. I think something went wrong in the potty-training process....yikes

  2. It's so different for every kid. But I have heard boys are way worse than girls. My friends 7 year old still wears pull ups. Have you tried putting him to bed without one? Or limiting drinks before bed? Just a few suggestions. My 3 year old doesn't wear anything to bed, but we have to wake him up once through the night or he will have an accident. It must be hard for him though, like if he wants to go to a freinds for a sleepover. I would try to start training his body to go overnight without an accident.

  3. my 7 year old boy still wears them too. He is only 44 pounds so he can still fit in the baby ones. the doc says that he will eventually outgrow it. even with the medicine on the market these days he still sometimes wakes up wet.  My other two who are girls never had this problem

  4. no there is several kids that have to wear them due to platter problems and etc..

  5. I had a small bladder and it took me till I was 12 before I didn't wear "good nights" at night. My mom took me to the Dr. and he said that they could make my bladder bigger or just wait and see if I out grow it.  One day I just started waking up or lasting all night, and I'm thankful that my Mom didn't make me under go any operations.

    hope this helps

  6. No. Every child is different, but does he have a medical problem that causes him to need them?

If so, then it is acceptable for him to still wear pullups at night. If not, then that is just stupid and unnecessary.

Don't let him drink any fluids before bedtime (within 3 hours before bedtime).

    Hope this helps! =]

Edit= Seriously, thumbs down for that? I think not!

  7. I doubt he's the "only" kid!!! That's why they make them!!!

  8. my younger sister peed the bed until she was 6 or 7 but i would not worry about it at all..he will grow out of it..it is very common however it could also be a medical thing make an appointment and his doctor will check his bladder..hope everything goes okay good luck

  9. I was a bed wetter until I was 5.

My brother did sometimes at 15.

Lucky for the kids with this trouble

    that they have pull ups.

  10. This might seem like a really obvious question but - do you leave a light on in the house at night?  He may be too scared to go to the toilet in the dark.

I remember when I was a kid the house was SOOOOO scary at night time when my parents were asleep and the house was completely dark.  I never got up to wee, even if I was busting... luckily I have a really strong bladder or I would have DEFINITELY wet the bed!

All that aside, it is common for kids to need pull ups or some form of bed-wetting device well into their teens.  From what I understand it's more common in boys.

  11. no my neighbors son still wears them at night and hes 9 and gonna be 10 some kids have a hard time at night but it will eventually go away i no kids 13 and 14 who still wet at night.

but make sure hes not drinking anything 2 hours before bed

dont worry because hes not the only one

  12. Nope. They make special pullups for older kids even.

  13. no. My son is 8 and wears goodnights. He wets every night. We've had him checked out for a medical problem but the doctor said he just has a small bladder and he will outgrow it. He takes medication but it only helps a little. The doctor said it's common for kids, esspecially boys to sometimes wet up until puberty.

You didn't "go wrong in the potty training", don't listen to ignorant people. I have three older boys who never had this issue...all kids are different.
