Is my Bonsai tree dead?

Question

I have a Hokidachi bonsai tree, The leafs have gone orangy,green and are curling up. I brought it about 6 months ago, but think I may have over watered it. What should I do, and is it dead?

That type of discolouration can mean your plant is very unhappy from sitting with its feet in water all day. Flexibility means there's hope. Give it a thorough soaking to rinse any nasties out of the soil and let the plant drain VERY well afterwards. Refer to this site by an artist/grower for care instructions.
