He has cuts on his back end and they are bleeding. They wont scab over and all i can do is wipe away the blood. The cuts have been there for almost 2 days now. He just sits in his water dish. Are Eastern Box turtles support to have soft mushy skin or are they suppost to have hard dry skin. I think that may be why, but I dont know. I Feed my turltes daily and he hasn't been eating very good. I dont want my pet to die. please help.

  1. vet now he is in bad shape take him to a vet or the shelter now

  2. You are not being a responsible pet owner. This turtle needs to see a vet the first thing tomorrow morning. I cannot believe you left it for 2 days bleeding. Not eating and just sitting there are warning signs, and you ignored them. Make an appointment tomorrow and tell them it's an emergency. I'm sorry if I'm sounding rude, but this is unacceptable.

  3. Take your turtle to the vet immediately. It sounds like a severe infection.

  4. He needs a vet asap. If his shell is soft that is due to lack of UVA/UVB light. Could you tell us how you have him set up?

  5. put a little bit of honey in the cuts it should heal it.
