Is my Chicken a Rooster or Hen?

Question

I have a 3 month old or so chick. It is all grey. It has a dark grey head, light grey body, and black feed and beak.

It makes a weird noise when it eats with my hen who adopted it. Its pretty.

How can you tell?

Will I be able when older? How old can I tell for sure?

Yes, you will know when the chickens/roosters get older.  Roosters tend to get bigger as they grow.  you can trust my answer becuase I have six chickens and one rooster and the rooster is very big compaired to the others

i have a 3 1/2 month old americana and i think its a rooster but im not sure. It has three small rows of combs and its tail sticks up a little bit. Is this sound like a rooster or hen?
