Is my Hamster Podgy and Plump and Cute or is she Obese???

Hi this is my Hamster Hunni and i was wondering is she fat and cute or is she like obese or something.

She doesn't even eat much and she's not preggo.

Awwwww!!!! She is soooooo adorable! Hunni is normal size for a hammy! Hamsters are supposed to have some fat on them, particularly behind the shoulders. They use this stored fat mainly for energy and some other necessities.

Shes cute, but the sand box is dangerous for her, because if it gets in her eyes, her eyes might swell up.

shes really cute yea i gotta say but she has a case of dioroxity which means a overload of calcium which proactives over to the abdomen so that it will look a little pugdy but its alright i wouldnt worry about it

shes fat, very cute and looks like my old hamster. i think your giving her too many treats , make her go in an exercise ball afterwards. As long as she can move around she'l be ok.

Ah what a lovely little hamster! Its clear to see that you love her very much!

She doesnt really look fat, and if you say she doesnt eat much then it could just be that shes really fluffy and / or a bit of a podge!

Just make sure you dont over feed her, make sure she gets plenty of exercise every day and she will be fine. Don't feed her too much fresh fruit as they have lots of natural sugar in them which can give her an upset tummy and make her put on weight!

Stick to dry foods (a small handfull) and keep an eye on her as hamsters love to store food, so you might think she is eating more than she actually is.

Ive had three hamsters (r.i.p Hugo, Loki, Mr Coleslaw!) and now seeing your Hunni, I want another one!!
