  1. you shouldn't kill yourself in freshman year. earth and space science GT is easy though so that won't be a problem....i think the academics is not too intense(i had 9 classes in freshman year and sophomore year, since i'm taking more AP(college level) classes this year, i'm cutting down to 7 classes)

your extra curricular stuff is good too, but if you put them altogether, you won't have much of a social life outside of school.

    goodluck! make the right choice!

  2. okay so.

    here's what I would do.

Pick out 4 out of the 8 extra stuff. Trust me, it looks better on college applications if your more involved into fewer groups, then just randomly choosing.

    So I would chooes...

    Volleyball JV (GO FOR IT!)

    Ecology Club

    Debate Team

    Class of 2012 SGA

and if you have time, Peace club.

    Best of luck!

  3. your crazy, that's a lot for one person to handle. if you can't do it drop something.

  4. Have a calendar and write everything down!!  I do it on my phone....im going to be a freshman too....and im going to a new school...but i made cheerleading and that takes up sooooo much time!!  So ive just started writing EVERYTHING on my phones calendar!!  Im also taking all GT classes I can!!  but we call it AP!!  Im the smart cheerleader!!  Hah!!  Good luck!!  All of that is going to look GREAT on your college application!!

Here are my classes!!  But i don't have near as much stuff as you since its my first year at a new school!!

    English 3 AP

    Algebra 2 AP

Communications Applications (my old school didn't have it)

    History Pre-AP

    Biology Pre-AP

    Drivers Ed

    CHEERLEADING!!!

Some other things but i dont remember!!  In history and biology you can ONLY take pre-ap.  Pre-AP one grade above, AP=two grades above..

Also...don't take yourself too seriously...always make sure you have time for friends!!  Its a stress reliever, trust me!!

  5. How do you do all that stuff? my schedule is this

    Math1

    Lit/Comp

    Spanish2

    Concert Band

    then next semester...

    Honors World history

    Honors biology

    health

    concert band

    after school stuff...

    drama club, maybe

and im thinking about doing the 'wall'

i dont no how you can handle all that AND homework.

  6. Go for it.  It looks tough, but it also looks like a lot of fun.  I'm assuming, based on the number of honors classes, that you're a straight-A student.  If so, you shouldn't have too much trouble.  Just don't be scared to leave a club if you find you're not having time for homework.

  7. yeah way too intense, you are a total nerd! good luck!!

  8. You're taking on too much your first year. It's going to take you a while to get used to life in a high school setting. You should have taken it easy your first year. Too late now though. But maybe you're the type that always has energy. Still, I think you should wait on some of the extra curricular stuff. But that's just me.

  9. RHHS doesnt have young liberals, does it?

but more importantly, your not in any of my classes. This is a problem.

  10. Too many extra curriculars! I would choose just one club between the peace club, ecology club, and the young liberals, then keep the other clubs. Even with eliminating 2 clubs, it's still gonna be very hectic for you.

  11. Wow.

  12. The academics look pretty good, but I think you have way too many extra curriculars for a freshman.

I'm not sure about the other clubs, but I know Debate and Volleyball will eat a lot of your time. And when you get back from volleyball practice, you will be so tired, and the last thing you'll want to do is homework.

Before you join the clubs, make sure ask the head/ president how often meetings will occur. That way, you won't have to worry about having to got to 3 clubs in one day (they usually occur directly after school).

And what type of grades did you make in middle school? If you made all As in regular classes, you should be ok.

  13. Yeah, I would say it's a little intense!

  14. Yes it is, but if you think you can do it all then more power to yeah my friend.

  15. In a word, yes.

  16. hm i dont know if youll be able to do all this
