Is my IQ low?

Question

Well, I'm expecting to get a couple "yeses" as a joke or something, but is my IQ low? I'm fourteen and I took an IQ test and got a 110. I'm not trying to brag, 'cause that seems pretty low to me. I was wondering if that's good or bad.

IQ tests are pretty much just a game nowadays. They only pinpoint certain areas of your brain, so they can't actually tell you how smart you are. Besides, your IQ supposedly never changes, but when I was 11 my IQ was 126 and now it's 134, so that just proves how inaccurate it is.

Don't base your potential on a score from an IQ test. They're fun to take, but it doesn't really say much about your intelligence.

First, those online tests aren't entirely accurate. They will, however, given you a ballpark idea. 100 is average. 70 is mentally retarded. 140 is genius. You're perfectly fine. No worries. :)

That's great! Like others said, average is 100. I was tested in fifth grade & I got a 130.

Don't worry that's above average. Google more "IQ Tests" and try to find the description of results -- and take those on line tests with a grain of salt!!

110 is above average. you have nothing to be concerned about.
