Is my SAT score OK?

Question

Is my Maths SAT score OK *?

My maths SAT score is 456/800. That's 57.5(ish) percent. I am a 12 year old gifted kid from England and I know that this score is better than between 27 and 31% of people - but is it a good score for a 12 year old?

And if you could please tell me your maths score and what scores you need for colleges and stuff, (for a laugh)

hello!

well, the first time i took the SAT was when i was about 11 or 12 as well (so it was in the 1600 format).  But anyways, then i got around a 1090 for the SAT combined.  For math i got around 540.  For critical reading i got about 470.  But, when i took it last year as a freshman (when i was 14 years old), i got a 1910 (M: 770, CR: 540, W: 600).  

So dont worry!  My scores arent that great but u will improve!

lol, no offense to you or anyone but gifted ppl shouldn't score that low

the avg collegebound senior gets around a 512 in math

i am not that smart and at 12 i got a 770 in math,

i am 13 now, and i got a 780 in math, 660 writing and 670 cr as my highest scores =)

wow i didn't know you could get a "456"!!! the score usually round off to the tens digit ex. 460. i don't know if your score is good for a 12 year old but for colleges you need it in the high 700s because almost everybody smart get like 800s on this. NOTE: you only need this kind of score if you apply to the Ivies and other top competitve schools ex MIT

for a 12 yr old thats pretty good, im guessing, and i thought they rounded to the tens digit..like your score would probably be a 460? who knows, maybe its different in England. and for colleges it varies, depending on which college you would like to go to, if its a competitive college, i would say above 700 and if its just an okay college maybe in the 500's even.

I'm a 13 year old gifted kid, just in the United States. It's weird, I didn't know England had SATs. I'd be interested to know what organization you took your test from. I took mine from Johns Hopkins CTY and it would be fascinating if they did that in England too. I got a 530/800 (about 66%, just quickly doing some metal math) on my math score. Your score is good. Besides, isn't it an honor enough that you got chosen to take the test? And I can tell you are like me. Most kids who went to take the test wouldn't find the percent and know all the facts and everything, like me and you do.

Just curious, what did you get for the reading and writing, if you did those? I got 530/800, 66%, for reading and 510/800, 64%, for writing.

And this is weird, also. I've been looking for kids who took the test like this forever, and now I find one, from England! Without even meaning too! If you would like to talk to me, my email is [e-mail], because I would love to talk to you about life and stuff.

Yeah, now you probably think I am weird. =) But it would be nice to talk to someone in the same shoes as me.

god now i feel stupid haha i'm 16 and i got a 440 in cr 470 in math 410 in writing and  a 5 on my essay

i dont even know how to add that all up....
