  1. Ask the company that installed it.  Aerials for countries other than the US can be different for digital broadcast frequencies.  In the US people tend to need better antennas but the antennas work on the same VHF and UHF channels as Analog TV did.

  2. I am told that my analog antenna is working just fine for a digital TV, which I have not yet bought.

I plan to wait until I know I have a problem before doing anything to upgrade.

  3. Our TV aerial is about 15 years old.  It was installed long before the advent of digital television.

We can receive about 70 digital Freeview channels perfectly.

There is no such thing as a 'digital' aerial.  They do not exist, except in a salesman's mind...

  4. Most antennas work with digital broadcasts, especially any one from the last couple of years.  If you check with the manufacturer's web site, you can make certain of this.

  5. If you had a new aerial fitted last year you are fine. (Providing that you have a digital receiver (digibox).

Any standard aerial that can receive standard TV transmissions can be used.
