Question:

Is my baby ball python okay?

I just got my first baby ball python about 3 weeks ago, and I've fed her 2 pinkies so far. She hasn't exactly 'passed' them yet, but I found this weird light yellow-green mucous like stuff in her cage with a few small white egg-shaped things in it. Is this normal? I mean, besides that, she looks and acts healthy. Its been about 5 days since I fed her last.

  1. a baby ball python should be eating fuzzies cuz they have more nutrients and with the mucuas **** i wouldnt chance it take her to a vet

  2. i agree take her to the vet to get checked up.

  3. I agree your ball python should definitely be eating fuzzies now.  But in the future the food she eats should be a little larger then the thickest part of her body.  With the mucous definitely take her to a vet.

  4. That white mucus stuff sounds like urates, that's part of the f***s of ball pythons and is their equivalent to urine. That would be normal. The rest of the f***s should follow in a few days.
