Is my baby too short?

At his one year doctor's appointment, my son was deemed to be on the short side (he was 73.9 cm / 29 in as opposed to the norm of 80 cm). He has never been tall. At birth he was 19 inches and in the 50th percentile for most of his first year. Should I be worried?
