i have 2 baby bearded dragons and 1 of them if more active than the other and always lighter than the other it lighter normally but today and yesterday she was pretty bright and active... the darker 1 has its moments of being active running back and forth seeing its own reflection in a mirror right behind the tank..ive seen it change to a lighter color to match the other dragon almost but is normally darker... i think its might be stress from the move because i just got both of the dragons 2 days ago...the tank temperature is in the high 90s in the hot side i dont know how hot the basking spots are though...the cold area is around 85 or so...is the lazy 1 just stressed or is it more than that?

  1. believe it or not, bearded dragons camoflage slightly. to eiter dark shades or very light shades. did your tasnk have any type of light shade change? if its briighter, its a good chance shes camoflaging. if thats not the case, give her time and feed her an all around diet consisting of veggies, calcium powdered crickets and a bit of fruit each week or health pellets. let her adjust. if it gets serious take her to the petstore or a herp vet.

just to keep you on the safe side, dont feed your baby beardies worms, superworms are able to chew through their stomaches. (terrible , i know.) with wax worms, sometimes they cant digest the hard outter shell so they can get paralized and eventually.... pass away.

good luck! i have a baby beardie to ♥♥
