Is my belly button piercing healed yet?

I got my belly button pierced at a professional piercing studio 3 and a half months ago. The piercer told me that it takes 4 to 6 months to completely heal. So when do I know that it's healed?

well i had my belly peirced and it was healed within like 2 months.

if it is sore when you touch/twist the bar then it isnt healed.

if it gets crusty then it isnt healed.

when you can twirl the bar around comfortably and mess with it then it is healed :)

When it stops being painful, red, swollen, crusty or infected and you can move it or change it without pain.

its probably not fully healed. contrary to what your piercer said, it actually takes 6 months- 1 year to FULLY heal. but in 4-6 months it is usually healed enough so that you can change it without an issue.

if i were you, i'd go to my piercer to have it changed for the first time, and he'll be able to tell you how well you're healed at this point

they take at least a year to heal
