Is my best friend in love with me?

Alright well, I've had this best 'guy' friend for almost a year now. But we're now really really close. We're so close we talk for hours sometimes on the phone. And for sure every day. I want someone to help me decide if he likes me or you know whatever. He has a girlfriend but he always talks about her to me as if she's a burden. And he just never really seems in love with her. Once he made me make a c.d for him and it had the song "Crimson and Clover" on it and I asked him what it meant to him and he said that it was about a guy loving two women but is with one of them but he loves another women too. But that's so not what its about...right!! Anyway, he recently said I was the only one he trusted. and that i'm his best friend. and he gets really sad when we don't talk. Does it sound like he has any thing for me other than just a best friend or what?

I went thru the same thing in high school.

He has thought about it.

He would rather be your best friend and he thinks that he loves you in a different way than the other girl but he doesnt know what kind of love it is?

He knows he loves you he just know what it is exactly.

Keep him by your side as your friend, let him put all his trust in you and confide in him some too.

He'll figure out what type of love it is soon enough
