  2. yes, she'll be alright.

do NOT give her more of that spray.

  3. well if its just sea salt shell be fine

  4. She will be just fine. Take a deep breath.

  5. what happend to the bird?

  6. She should be just fine.  The product you speak of is mostly a saline solution and willl not hurt the bird...

  7. of course your bird will be ok i have birds my self. And that wont kill them you say its like sea salt then that would just be like putting salt in your water and your bird getting it. But there is nothing to worry about but if you want to make sure then just keep a close eye on him. or call a vet but in most cases if stuff dosnt hurt you then it wont hurt the bird.

  8. im pretty sure it will be ok

  9. It depends on what's in the spray. Your cockatiel seems to be acting normal, not vomiting, so she must be all right!

However, birds do tend to hide their illnesses until it gets really bad, so you need to be aware of the signs that something is wrong before it's too late. Then you obviously call the vet. Oh and, birds have more sensitive respiratory systems, so next time it's better to use sprays far away from your cockatiel.

One my Meyer's parrot knocked down a bottle of Bactine [the bug bite liquid] we accidentally left on the table. I guess the top wasn't on tight. So she started playing in it and drank it. When I took Pee Wee back to her cage [she seemed really proud of herself], I smelled her beak and it did smel like Bactine. lol I was worried but she was eating soon after, nothing seemed to have happened at all.

  10. yes, she only took one little sip of sea salt

  11. of course the bird will be ok

  12. she'll be fine. but if you're worried then keep an eye on her and if anything changes take her to the vet

  13. your bird will be fine

  14. That is NOT good for her.  See the site below for info and keep an eye on her.  Hopefully nothing will happen to her, but know where Vets are in your area are who specialize with birds.  Birds do not digest salt the way we do and the theobromine in it is toxic to them.
