I started using the second month of my Solia birth control, but the last month i forgot to take 2 inactive pills, so i did as the packet said and threw them away. But i was so stressed over that i forgot to start the new pills. So as soon as i remembered i took the 2 white ones i missed. my period started Sunday and ended Friday.

Its now Sunday again and i had unprotected s*x and didn't pull out. Then today at six i took my scheduled pill of the day. am i safe? i haven't missed any white pills the first month.just 2 green ones.and i missed the first 2 white of the next month but i took them as soon as i remembered.

Also:

~Just to be extra cautious, is it safe to take the morning after pill, even though I'm on the birth control?

~And in my case, when is the pill going to take 99% protection?

  1. If you don't want a baby, you BOTH use protection.

99% still means there is a chance you could get pregnant, but that's only if you take the pill correctly...you have yet to do that.

You need to be on the pill for at least 1 FULL CYCLE (with them taken correctly) for them to be 99% effective.

If you can't use birth control effectively, you shouldn't be having s*x.

  2. i think you should consult your doctor because birth control is complicated. but it is not safe to take the morning after pill when you're on birth control so don't do it. call your doctor asap and tell him/her what you told us
