I have an outdoor cat that is black and white. Lately, i noticed her a stomach seems to be larger than use to he also have been running to me every Time go outside in the back, she also follows me. She meows and purrs and rubs agenst. She knows this trick, she can stand up and rub agenst ur hand if you hold it out, but it seems like she can barely do that. I tried to see if her nipples are pink but i dont wana push her over and make her lay down. She has also use to eat alot, we would give her food outside then she would want more and more and more. And now she seems to have been eating less. We give her food but she only eats a little.

  1. I also have a cat from outside  and had the same situation. She is definitely pregnant, if she is acting like that I say you have about 3 more weeks, and shoulod definitely bring her inside ASAP! If you have any questios about care when the babies are born let me know!

  2. It sounds like she is not only pregnant, but ready to deliver soon. Bring her inside and keep her inside and make a box for her to give birth in. If you are uncertain you should take her to the vet for a check up. If she is ready to give birth you need to schedule an appointment for her to be fixed after she gives birth and then start finding good homes for the kittens that will be coming. Good luck and I hope you will do the right thing and have her fixed right away.

  3. why is she an outdoor cat, cant she live indoors and go out when she needs? then let back in again?

She does sound pregnant, if she hasnt been neutered and outside she has more than likely been with a tom cat.

She needs to be indoors now and not let out as she could have them in a unsafe place and with it being her first pregnancy, there is a high chance of her having trouble and needing assistance with the birth.

If she is eating less it sounds like the kittens will be here soon. They go off their food when labour is about to begin.

Please take her in and if poss have a vet check her out.

  4. I would say just take her to the vet? Then you can get her fixed if you don't want her pregnant and if you don't then you will know for sure.

  5. She may be pregnant.

Please make her an indoor kitty right away.

  6. you need to bring this cat inside today you don't want her having the kittens outside.  hopefully you have GOOD homes picked out for all of these kittens.

  7. Take her to the vet right away. It sounds like she is quite heavily pregnant to me, so it would be cruel to have her spayed now, but as soon as she has the kittens (if she is indeed pregnant) get her spayed. We have too many unwanted cats in the world as it is.

Sometimes with pregnant cats, if you rest your hand on the lower part of her stomach you can actually feel the kittens but this is usually for larger litters.

If she is pregnant, please make sure that you find good homes for all the cats.

  8. ...You've been letting an unfixed female cat outside? It's likely she's pregnant, yes. Please get her spayed.

  9. My first guess would be pregnant, but she should be eating more, not less unless she's about to have them already.  I have seen a cat expand more than a pregnant one from a massive infection (feral, he wouldn't let me help) so there could be something wrong with her.  Either way she needs to see the vet.

I strongly suggest you get her spayed asap.  Yes, it's sad to abort kittens but there are healthy, active kittens being put down every day in shelters (although spaying while pregnant isn't really an option if she's very close to having them but the vet can tell about that).  It will give her a healthier, easier life to be spayed.  If she's pregnant and you let her have the kittens be very careful where they go.  Offering them up for free to "good homes" can result in them being abused, sold into animal testing, and other horrible possibilities.
