  1. well i live in amerika but if u want go to a shopping mall and go to a womens clothes store and try on a bunch of there bras or go ask an attendent to size ur chest

  2. im pretty sure thats not normal... if you go to victorias secret i think they'll size it for you

  3. Unless you are wearing a half-cup or quarter-cup bra which is designed to be very revealing, your nipples should definately be covered by the bra. It sounds like you need a bigger cup size.

If you have never been fitted, you might need a completely new bra size anyway. 80% of women are wearing the wrong size bra, so don't be surprised if you end up a totally different size. Most people end up in a smaller band size and a bigger cup size when they are professionally fitted, and it's not unusual to go from a 34C to a 30E.

If you take the time to read the links I have given below, you should be able to work out what is wrong with your bras and what you need to change. I would also suggest going to Bravissimo for a fitting, they are probably the best bra fitters in the country. This video will show you what happens at one of their bra fittings: http://www.bravissimo.com/perfectfit/get...

  4. get a 34 d

    or try a 36 c

try on the bra at the store

  5. that bra is too small

does the band fit around ok or is that to tight as well?

you may just need to go up a cup size to a D

here is how to measure your bra size

  6. Maybe you just need a bigger cup size.

    Im 13 and im 34DD,

and my nipples still kinda show,

Maybe you should go get measured

    or buy a bigger bra.

    Good luck :)

  7. It is not normal for your nipples to show, no. I cannot think of any normal bra in which this would be the case. I would certainly recommend going up in the cup size. Have you tried 34Ds or DDs? (By the way, if you've measured your own bra size, it's inaccurate to add 4-5" to your under-bust to find band size. You should be rounding to the nearest even number.)

You also have the benefit of getting fitted at Bravissimo, arguably the lingerie shop with the most consistently knowledgeable fitters! Definitely check it out (their bras are pricy, but I'm sure you can just go in for a fitting). You'll probably find your bra size to change drastically - the link I posted has a video of a woman who comes into the shop as a 36DD and leaves as a well-supported 32FF.

Bravissimo's fitting page should help you gauge why your bra is fitting poorly. Also on the site you can find the location nearest to you. (I'm not British, so I don't know of many other shops with good fitters, but I hope this helps.)

  8. One: that's not normal and is probably uncomfortable.

I'm fifteen as well and I just changed sizes ( I've been wearing the wrong size) and got measured professionally. In my experience researching online there are three different methods of measuring.

Usually department stores will measure under the bust (around the ribcage) and add four inches to that.  Other stores (such as the Dillards that I went to) will measure around your chest right below your arm pits (above your bust).  It produced about the same result, 30 inches either way, that was my band size.

Then, you measure around the fullest part of your bust with the measuring tape below your shoulder blades so that it's parallel to the ground while measuring.  Mine was 36 for example, and since the band was 30 you take the difference of that to find your cup size.

    No difference - AA

    1 inch - A

    2 inch - B

    3 inch - C

    4 inch - D

5 inch - DD (or E depending on the brand)

    And so on...

Ultimately, the size is put to the test when you try it on and knows what is comfortable on top of how it's supposed to fit.

The underwire shouldn't be digging in too much but it shouldn't be poking out and should be slipping around.

-If the underwire is coming away from your chest then the band size is probably too big, the cups too small, or both.

The transition between the fabric of the cups to the breast should be smooth, there should be no gaping, ridges, or pudginess.

-If the cup is digging into the breast just a little bit then try adjusting the straps by loosening them a bit.  If it's still doing it, then go up a cup size.

The shoulder straps shouldn't be digging in, but they shouldn't fall off.  It should be comfortable.

Finally, the band should fit snug yet firmly around on the loosest setting (that way, as it's stretched out from wash and wear you can wear it on a tighter setting).  You should only be able to pull it away a little bit with two fingers. (When I was wearing a 32 I could put both my arms and pull it away a foot - that's not normal)

Once you've got that covered then take into consideration the shape of your b*****s and what style of bra would work for that.  I have a friend whose mass is in the lower part of her breast and she doesn't have anything up top so she can't wear full coverage because the cups will be too big up top, but demis and balconettes in that same size fit wonderfully.  I on the other hand need more coverage than a balconette or else i'll have the same problem and they won't cover--so I have to hunt down a more covering cup.

I've read some great reviews about bravissimo if that's available to you in the UK. I sure wish it was for me!  Once you find a well fitted bra, you feel so much more comfortable!  It really is quite important.

So good luck and I hope I helped some!
