I'm slightly conerned and having last minute panics as the exams are kind of tomorrow... I've got Edexcel C2 followed by MEI FP1. My Calulator is a Casio fx7400G PLUS, bought it forhelp in the FP1 exam when it comes to drawing those crazy graphs; I have got another calculator, but it's only scientific and just not so cool.

If anyone could help me out I'd be so grateful!

  1. It depends on the rules of your educational institution, but generally speaking I have never heard of a single case in which the use of a calculator -even a scientific calculator- has been denied to a student. I use one all the time, and never had a problem.

  2. you're allowed the calculator but your not allowed the lid as it has the equations  which can be seen as additional help

good luck with your exam =]

  3. When I went to school, calculators were not allowed in exams at all.

We used slide rules and log tables combined with mental arithmetic.

  4. Yes your allowed but your not allowed the equation cover on it

    Hope this helps

  5. depends on subject, at my school maths, chem and physics can have graphics calculators and all others are scientific only
