Question:

Is my case of jealousy an unintentional form of homoeroticism?

I know that "jealousy" is different to "envy" in this case, but I feel like I need to ask this.

Here's the thing - I suffer sever jealousy problems. Obviously, this can be linked to my low self-esteem, but for the most part, I find myself getting very easily jealous of people, whether it comes down to their material possessions, personal characteristics or if they simply have a girl I like as their girlfriend.

However, I also get jealous of "good-looking" dudes, mainly because they seem to be treated better and more nicely than the less attractive individuals like myself. When it comes to cases of jealousy stemming from considering another dude better-looking than me, could that be considered as unintentionally homosexual? I know for a fact that I'm straight, but I find myself questioning it. After all, one dude saying another dude is good looking, whether or not it was direct e.g. "You're hot") or (in my case) indirect (e.g. thinking he's better than me), is presumably homo.

  1. I don't think so. Not unless you get aroused by your jealousy towards good-looking men.

Many straight women spend their lives thinking like that!
