no, maus have spots, yours has stripes. lovely little kitty though

ETA: anyways, unless your cat has papers then it is considered a mixed breed or domestic cat :o) just like most of the other cats in the world

no. maus generally have more clearly defined spots than that. your princess kitty has longer markings, basically broken stripes.

on top of which, maus are not the most common breed to find. the average breeder of them isn't going to let their cats out to breed indiscriminately with a stray cat, where the babies can find their way to homes all over.

she looks to be the average silver mackerel tabby to me. she is a quite stunning girl...looks to have a bit of rascal in her judging by the look on her face, lol.

No. Egyptian maus have black spots, not stripes. Your cat is most likely a domestic shorthair, like virtually every other cat in America. It's unusual to see a purebred cat, so unless you sought out an Egyptian mau breeder (and paid a lot of money) the chances of getting a purebred cat are pretty slim.

No.  She may have Egyptian Mau in her, but she has a tabby pattern (stripes) rather than the spotted pattern.  She's a mix.

I did a google search and up came a lot of pictures of egyptian mau's. Your kitty does look like she could be a mau as the pictures I saw in my google search looked like yours.

My old cat looks exactly like that...she's a domestic shorthair.
