Hi my name is Andrea , and I am hoping to be your 2008/2009 cheer captain. I believe I would make a good captain because, I am well organized and efficient.I understand that it is important for me to treat everyone the same. I am well prepared to take on the responsibility’s that come my way.im really easy to get along with and very understanding.im try my hardest to be on time and not miss practice.

  1. It's...okay.  Everyone should know your name already, shouldn't they?

And I think it should be a hair longer. Talk about everything you've done for the cheer squad and also what you plan to do.

Go into more depth about treating people the same.

And also at the end, it should be "I will be on time and I will not miss practice" A cheer captain should never miss practice.

    Good luck!

  2. Instead of saying im trying my hardest to be on time and not miss practice i would say something like im on time so i dont miss practice...otherwise if you do miss practice then you wont become cheer captain

  3. I agree with those above. Say something like, "It is important to me to be on time, and to always attend practice." This way, you are off the hook for emergencies, etc.

Also.. "I understand that it is important for me to treat everyone the same" must be re-worded. Nobody can treat everyone the same. Instead, try: Being part of a team means treating one another with respect. As your cheer captain, I will encourage you all to make us better as a whole.
