  1. i think so,ya....

my little cousin is also legally blind in one eye but she handles it well.i think she`s 3 or 4.i dont see her much so i dont know exactly how old.

  2. Yes it does qualify if you get proper documentation

  3. um depends if he acts the same r not.  but anyways if your child was to be disabled you know the government would give you money or reduce ur taxes or something like that.

  4. I am not 100% sure if that qualifies, but my hunch is yes...i have been receiving SSI since I was 18....NEVER as a child....according to government parents made too much money even though barely could pay bills....so just be aware of that...government has very strict rules on who qualify....if the household makes a certain amount...it doesn't matter you won't see a cent....until h e does when he turns 18...and if he lives with you it will still be very little.

    BTW...i have Spina Bifida.

  5. Hi my name is Mary i get sis and social security My boys have  a  learning disability and they get sis Are baby is 14 months and is delayed and we applied for sis for her she has speech in are home try it and see if he can get it am sure he will and if not keep fighting my hubby is trying to get on social security for 7 years he got hurt on the job can't work at all.

  6. You should get  in touch with the concerned authorities.Theres no shame in asking.

  7. If it really hinders him. I mean, he might not be able to drive as well. I was cross-eyed starting when I was 10 months old until I was 15, and my body ignores all input from my right eye to deal with the inconsistencies. If I cover my left eye I can see from my right, but usually I don't see anything out of it except sudden peripheral movements.

I got a 100% on my driving test anyway, and it never really bothers me except when people tell me my eyes are pointing in different directions. That kinda kills.

Long story short- probably not and he'll be fine.

  8. Call the social security office 1-800-772-1213 or log onto their website  http://www.ssa.gov/pubs/10029.html

    Good luck!
