Is my computer data lost?

I don't know what happened but when I turn on my computer I get a message saying that something is either wrong with my hardware or software and it gives me options to log in reguarly or in safe mode but when I click on any of the options the computer just restarts and the same screen displays again. I am planning on going to get the computer fixed but I was wondering since I have not yet rebooted my system and started all over again if there is any possible way that the specialist can retrieve my old data? I am really desperate!

  1. They can fix your computer without  getting your hard disk wiped out. if you're lucky enough to only have software problem, tell the specialist fist to install another operating system on you computer then move your files to a partition IF your hard disk do have a partition. i hope it won't be lost cause i've fixed tat kind of problem on my PC before. i hope tis works for ya ^__^ email me if you wanna ask more. But i'm telling you tat they can retrieve it :D

  2. Probably almost all of the stuff you've saved to your hard drive is still OK.  There's just something wrong with the basic start-up instructions in your computer--or maybe something wrong with your hardware.

  3. Hello Rebble, sweet heart no need to be desperate or even worried, no data will be lost, the computer guy can retrieve all the data for u and very easily, dont worry about it, just take it to the maintenance shop and they will fix it for u
