  1. u really cant tell from just that does his eyes look foggy at all?

  2. no it doesn't look like it. but if you she discoloration or blueish eyes he is about to shed. but try smaller and bigger prey items.

  3. First off, your animal looks fairly young. It's quite easy to lose p**p in aspen when they are that small.  If they are feeding on anything smaller than a hopper, they will leave almost nothing to find and often they will deposit it under the aspen while they are burrowing. Second, the pictures are too far away and not clear enough to determine if the animal is in fact blue. If you know when he last shed, you can pretty much have an idea if he's due or not. Young snakes shed approximately ever month or so.  As they get older, this time gets longer between of course.  Many snakes go off food in the weeks prior to shedding. Even young snakes can go quite a long time without food so don't panic if he doesn't eat right now. Your animal is in good weight and could certainly go months before he couldn't make it anymore. I've had hatchlings that have never taken a meal, go 3 months before they had to be euthanized. An animal like yours could easily do that.  I suspect that if your snake is due to shed, that you should just up the humidity a bit and wait.  After he sheds, offer a food item and see if he'll eat.  I've even had a few that will not eat immediately after shedding but will the following week.  Just relax and he'll be fine.
